Ingredients
500gramlamb mince
1/4cuppanko breadcrumbs
1smalloniongrated
2&1/2tspnginger/garlic paste
2tspnground cumin
1tspnground coriander
2tspnchilli powder
1tspnpaprika
2green chillies, finely chopped(optional)
1/4cupfresh corianderchopped
1tspnsalt
1smalllemon
2tbspvegetable oil
Instructions
Soak the wooden skewers in some water for 30 minutes. In a large bowl mix the lamb mince with all the other ingredients. Squeeze in the juice of one small lemon and mix well
Using damp hands, divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape it around the skewers
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan and fry the lamb kebabs, about 4-5 minutes on each side
Serve with naan bread and a yogurt dip with a crunchy salad
Notes
You can make the kebabs without skewers. Roll them into long sausage like shapes
If you cannot handle the heat you can leave out the chilli
Although I cooked mine on the stovetop you can cook them under a hot grill
