Paneer Scramble

Ingredients

  • 400 gram paneer scrambled
  • 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 green pepper diced
  • 3 green chillies slit in halves
  • 3 red chillies slit in halves
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • salt
  • coriander to garnish
  • lemon juice optional

Instructions

  • Scramble the paneer with your fingers and set aside
  • Heat the oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds and once it splutters, add the onion and green pepper
  • Once the onion is translucent add the garlic and cook for a few seconds.
  • Add the chilli and turmeric, mix well
  • Add the scrambled paneer and cook just for a few seconds. You don't want to overcook the paneer
  • You can add a few drops of water if you wish
  • Garnish with coriander and drizzle some lemon juice if you wish. Serve immediately

Notes

  1. You can adjust the amount of the chilli according to your taste
  2. Do not overcook the paneer as it will turn rubbery
  3. You can add some tomatoes if you prefer a more moist dish. We prefer it dry
