Paneer Scramble

- 400 gram paneer scrambled
- 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 green pepper diced
- 3 green chillies slit in halves
- 3 red chillies slit in halves
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- salt
- coriander to garnish
- lemon juice optional
Scramble the paneer with your fingers and set aside
Heat the oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds and once it splutters, add the onion and green pepper
Once the onion is translucent add the garlic and cook for a few seconds.
Add the chilli and turmeric, mix well
Add the scrambled paneer and cook just for a few seconds. You don't want to overcook the paneer
You can add a few drops of water if you wish
Garnish with coriander and drizzle some lemon juice if you wish. Serve immediately
- You can adjust the amount of the chilli according to your taste
- Do not overcook the paneer as it will turn rubbery
- You can add some tomatoes if you prefer a more moist dish. We prefer it dry
