Milk Burfi

Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered milk
  • 1&1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 200 ml full fat milk
  • 3 tablespoon butter salted or unsalted is fine

Instructions

  • Place the powdered milk, icing sugar and milk in a large bowl. Use a whisk and mix until a smooth batter is formed.
  • Heat the butter in a pan, on medium to low heat. Add the batter to the pan and mix continuously with a wooden spoon or spatula, until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan. This process should take about 5 minutes. 
  • Remove from the stovetop and allow to cool. Shape them as desired and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  1. This burfi is made with milk as the name suggests. However, if you wish to substitute the milk with cream you can but it's no longer a milk burfi
