Creamy Pesto Pasta

Pasta in a rich and creamy pesto sauce with loads of parmesan cheese. Quick and easy meal in just 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 cups dried pasta I used Penne
  • 250 gram or 1 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • salt
  • pepper
  • few leaves of fresh basil

Instructions

  • Cook pasta as per package instructions with some salt. Once it's cooked, al dente, drain the water and set aside. Reserve a cup of water for later use
  • Add the pesto and fresh cream to a pan and heat through
  • Mix the pasta and pesto sauce together. Serve hot with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and some fresh basil
  • Season with more salt and pepper if required
