- 3 cups dried pasta I used Penne
- 250 gram or 1 cup basil pesto
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- salt
- pepper
- few leaves of fresh basil
Cook pasta as per package instructions with some salt. Once it's cooked, al dente, drain the water and set aside. Reserve a cup of water for later use
Add the pesto and fresh cream to a pan and heat through
Mix the pasta and pesto sauce together. Serve hot with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and some fresh basil
Season with more salt and pepper if required
