Chicken Gyro with Tsatsiki

- 500 gram chicken breasts 4 breasts
- 3 tbsp greek yogurt
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1&1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
- 2 large garlic clove minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Tsatsiki
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt
- 1 small clove garlic minced
- 1/4 cup grated cucumber
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp olive oil
- salt
Cut the chicken breasts in half. Place them in a zip lock bag and use a meat mallet to flatten them
Place all the ingredients for the chicken in a zip lock bag, except the olive oil. Add the chicken breasts and mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour
Heat the olive oil in a pan, do not let it smoke. Place the chicken breasts in the pan and fry both sides until brown. You can use a grill pan too. Cook half the chicken at a time, don't overcrowd the pan. Cook each side for about 2&1/2 minutes. This depends on how thick the chicken is.
Serve the chicken on pita bread or flatbread with the tsatsiki and a greek salad

Grate the cucumber and squeeze the excess liquid, use some paper towels
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts
- If you do not have greek yogurt you can use any plain yogurt
- This recipe can be doubled
