Braai Lamb Chops

Marinade
- 12 lamb cutlets aka rib chops
- 4 teaspoon kashmiri chilli powder
- 2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Garlic Butter
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- parsley to garnish
Braai Lamb Chops
Trim any excess fat off the lamb chops. Marinate with all of the ingedients, listed under marinade, and refrigerate overnight or for an hour.
Grill on a hot braai between 8 (medium rare) and 13 minutes (well done). Or you can braai according to your personal preference.
If you grilling the chops on the stovetop you will cook them for 3 minutes per side (1.5cm thickness).
- We prefer the Rib chops but you can also use Loin chops for this recipe.
- It is a fairly simple recipe and I don't think much can go wrong.
