- 410 gram canned baked beans
- 1 small red onion diced
- 1 tomato diced
- 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
- 2 green chillies or 1 green and 1 red, finely chopped
- juice of half lemon
- 2 tbsp chilli sauce We used Veri Peri sauce
- salt
In a large bowl mix together the baked beans, red onion, tomato, mint, coriander and green chilli
Add the chilli sauce and the lemon juice. Mix well and season with salt. Refrigerate until ready to serve
